The Gov. came yesterday to get a first hand look at the flood damage (Hes blind) anyways... The National Guard came in yesterday also and FEMA will be here today. They finished a temp.bridge on Indian Hill last night so that 90 families trapped there since sunday night could get out, roads on both ends were wiped out. Rt 39 from w.perrysburg road to hill street is still closed because the road is gone. More than 1/4 of the houses in the village are condemned. The village will be getting its water from old wells using their 1936 vintage pumps if the water is not contaminated. If it is? Moms computer got wiped out so shes off line for a while. Both Gowanda and Perrysburg have water bans no cleaning mud off things with water, no showering or washing machines... Boil water still in Gowanda and driving bans still in Gowanda and Perrysburg. Thats it for now.
