I'm back to work now. Maternity leave was awesome with Carter. I actually got to stay home with him for about 9 weeks with pay, so I was very blessed (considering all the time I was off for bedrest). I ended up being off about 4 months total...that's a long time. So I had a lot of anxiety about coming back to work. I've been back for about 2 weeks, and it's been going good. I miss him while I'm gone, but it just makes going home that much better.
He's growing so fast! We weighed him on the produce scale at Wal-Mart a couple days ago and he was 11.5 lbs! Can't believe my baby is already 2.5 months old.
We spent last weekend in KS and had a great time with the kids. We went for Gwen and Addi's pirate birthday party. Isn't the cake Ruben decorated great?! The kids all dressed up with eye patches and everything. It was sooo cute. Grandpa and I took them all bowling the day before. I'm not sure who had more fun, the kids or Ruben and his brothers. Jensen didn't bowl, but she sure enjoyed the nacho's!
