A Random Joke

Jon and Dan are in a mental institution which has an annual contest that picks two of the best patients and gives them two questions. If they answer correctly, they are released.

Jon is called into the doctor's office first. The doctor says, "Jon, what would happen if I poked out one of your eyes?"

Jon says, "I'd be half blind."

"That's correct. What would happen if I poked out both your eyes?"

"I'd be completely blind." The doctor tells him that he is free to go. On Jon's way out he tells Dan the questions and answers.

The doctor asks Dan, "What would happen if I cut off one of your ears?"

Dan says, "I'd be half blind."

The doctor, slightly puzzled, continues, "What would happen if I cut off both your ears?"

"I'd be completely blind."

"Dan, how can you explain that you'd be blind?" asks the doctor.

"Well," replies Dan, "my hat would fall over my eyes."

We came to gramas to play cards tonight. I thought it would last a couple hours then we could go home to bed. Well, we barely got through 1 1/2 hrs without driving grandma and me crazy with all the singing , humming , jumping around , climbing under the table, and beating each other up,(that was just cameron and alyssa, just kidding) Anyways it was fun and well try it again next week. Maybe well learn to calm down a little. I think everyone has cabin fever. Its been soooo cold and were getting another foot of snow tonight, were hoping for a snow day tomarrow(most likely wont happen, i think we already have our limit) Love you guys

Hi from Great Gram

Hi everybody! Today is my only day off this week and it has been a very busy day. Aunt Sandi and I went out for lunch. I ran errands and went to supper at Sylvi Taylor's house. We had yummy chili. I am loving all the pictures! I am hating all the cold. I never seem to be warm except at work and under my electric blanket!! I had a great time Friday evening going to my company Christmas Party. Lots of good food and music and dancing. The Tillotson grandparents seem to be on the mend altho gramp is having a harder time bouncing back. Keep up the prayers. They have loads of help and if gram doesn't drive the help crazy with her constant demands they should be ok in a week. I try to call every night . the weather is so cold that I don't go anywhere after I get home from work . The sun did shine today tho and that really lifts spirits. Aunt Sandi and cousins are coming to play cards Tue. night. We decided we needed to do something to get us through this winter. So cards and snacks tomorrow night. Want to come? Where is Everybody?

Ok guys just because you're not here does not mean I don't want to hear from you. The purpose of the blog is to stay in touch when we are apart. We are doing great My kids are settling in and we are adjusting well to having a new baby.We are drinking more caffeine now, the energy drinks are now a grocery list #1. Addisen slept all night last night. Gwen still is teething and it's rough. Ruben has fallen in love with his horse grandma and granpa bought him while they were here. He slept withit last night, and Gwen can't play with it. Dad the roses still look great they are a great reminder of our time together. J I am praying for you and your job. Aunt Sandi it was so great to hear from you. I am working on letter with [ictures for everyone.

Hi im back for a short stop. I just got done work and wes had to use the car today so mom picked me up. i guess I really dont have much to say. Were just all trying to stay warm, its gonna be a long winter. We started going to church on saturday night at moms church this week, I really like it, its less stress gettiing ready for church and we copied you guys we had pizza after, so it was really something to look forward to. Where's Grama?

Question of the day... We were wondering where granma and grandpa are this morning. Sadly they left yesterday, but we had a great time. We had a birthday party and lots of holding baby time. We love everybody and miss everybosy. I hope we will here from some of the other family soon.

She is finally here. After 42 weeks she is here. 9.5 lbs and 20.5 inches. Black hair and lots of it. We are all adjusting. Little Ruben loves her and gives her hugs and kisses and cals her beba. Gwen is a little jealous and is working on her fake cry. Addisen is going to have to toughen up because Gwen is in to ulling hair and hitting her in the head. Grandma and Granpa got her a baby for Christmas so we are trying to teach her to take care of it like I take care of baby Addisen. We will see if that works. I will send you all pitures soon. Hi everyone! I so hate not having internet, but I am getting lots more things done this way. I've read 3 books already this year and I'm working on one craft project each day(for sale or gifts whatever) I have a pile of 19 completed projects so far and also Im working on a quilt for Lyles birthday ,about half done with that. Thanks for the picture shes beautiful! Tim and Ash have been back to school for their first full week, and Tim doesnt know any of us again. Ash doesnt have classes till 6pm on mondays and no classes on fridays so she may be spending more time at home this semester which makes her happy. We took them back last sunday at around 2pm and at midnight Tim texted us to tell us that he forgot ALL his clothes at home. Who goes off to college with NO clothes and then takes 10 hrs to figure out that you dont have clothes? We had to make another trip to Houghton on tuesday. Maybe he was thinking about the terrible thing that happened at home over the weekend, His Xbox got "the ring of death" oh horrors! Now what is he going to do with all his time? Well, love you guys!

Preppin for an intense workout

Yesterday was a run day for me and I was not going to run out in that cold weather. So I'm heading over to the gym and gonna do yesterday's and today's workout. Tomorrow is my recovery day. So I should be good. Love ya all.

And for the record it IS colder outside with no hair. (Imagine goosebumps, OK?)

Grandma finally figures it out!!

Hey I think I figured this out again. But by tomorrow my geriatric mind will have lost it. Gram and Gramp T are doing much better. Please pray they regain their strength and that Gramp's tongue and throat heals quicker. The meds gave him Thrush and it is very painful. I am home and back to work and that is a good thing. Again it is storming and the only place colder than here is Syracuse and maybe Alaska. I love your picture Phil. Praying for you Brandi and Tam. while in Syracuse I watched this show where the lady had sextruplets plus older twins. Man count your blessings!! Well not much news. All is well here. Altho I have a bit of cabin fever. Need to get out and see some friends if it ever stops snowing. Love ya Mom

It is not good for man to be alone!

I want you all to know that this is not the first time that Phil has shaved himself bald. The last time I was in KS and he was in KY alone, he shaved it too!

And then the clippers stopped.......

My hours have been cut at work and extra money just isn't there. So Jon left his clippers here and I know people who give themselves haircuts. I got half way through what looked like a reverse mohawk and the clippers wouldn't cut. So I thought I would adjust the blade and I dropped one of the screws....down the drain. I then put the chippers (that are now dangerous) in the trash and used my razor.

I know that I had TWO options available. One, I could go somewhere to get it fixed. Two, I could fix it myself. And either option would have been fine for me. The only thing I didn't like about option one was that I would have to GO, like leave my house where someone might see me with a reverse mohawk, to get it fixed. Option two was...well... TA DAH! Mr. Clean!

Still Waiting

It's a full moon almost so it could happen tonite,but if you know what cashews chicken is you would want to wait till tomorrow to have the baby too. Jenny is making me cashews chicken tomorrow. Na na na boo boo. Today we went and looked at furniture found what we wanted but did not buy anything yet. Than we had dinner tonite at Sweet Potato Love you guys, dad I am married and your sons will be too, I think you may need more than 12 rooms. Love you guys

Change of plans

I had my Saturday planned out and God changed it. I just got a call from the state chaplain and he was me to go to Frankfort, KY (the state capitol) because 15 soldier have returned from intense fighting in Afganistan and they are want a chaplain to open in prayer at there welcome home ceremony. That will be me. Less of me, More of Him.

Waiting

I'm here in Kansas with Brandi and her family, we are past the point of anxiously awaiting the arrival of our newest family member. We have moved from anxious to tired. Tired of people calling, texting, e-mailing "baby yet"?! Tired if people looking at Brandi's belly and saying "your still pregnant"? What does it look like!!!!!!!!!!!! So, as SOON as baby Addisen arrives we will let you know!!!!!!!! With pictures. Love you all. By the way J it's time for some new music!
