HI

Just thought I would say hi. It has been a while, we have not been up to much new. Work, school, and teaching little Ruben how to read. The girls got a new little pet. Jensen can really say no and give ugly mean faces. We are all feeling better. We had the stomach flu after the girls birthday and then the cold and ear infections, which are never fun. WE also had our first snow and got to build a snowman, no snowday though. Today we got a trampoline, so Addi help me build the frame and dad did the rest. Hopefully we will be able to juup tomorrow. Today it was dark by the time Ruben finished. Hope you all have a great week. Love you. Brandi

Carter went to the cardiologist yesterday. We found out that the little hole in his heart has closed! I was so happy to hear that. They said he is "perfectly perfect"...but we already knew that. :)

He weighed 14 lbs 5 oz, and he was 24 inches long. He's getting so big!

Over the past few weeks, he had been sleeping less and less in his crib (and mostly in his rocker beside us). So this weekend the goal was to get him back in his bed. And I have to say it went pretty great. He cried some, but no all-night-screaming sessions like I had expected. I'm so proud of him.

Life Stinks

Well we all know it does sometimes, but it is no excuse for ignoring the Blog. I have honestly been so down in the dumps and crazy busy that I have not even really thought about it.
I will tell you all that I love you and just be praying for our family. Ruben is out of work right now and My preschool is closing. We have not found a new place to relocate to, and because of budget cuts I am the Director, a teacher, the cook, and the janitor, and then. I get to do it all again at home. Have a good weekend!
