Missin my babies

I sure miss my girls but I couldnt play with them if I tired, I am so tired, I woslept most of Wednesday and wore myself out in two hours at school today, I have tommorrow off so I am exocted to rest again. My fever is gone and my neck is not hurting as bad. Little Ruben loves the movie he say "Where are my girls, let go find them at Pumkin patch" We're making taco salad tonite, and going to bed early. I was supposed to go birthday shopping with grandma today. I even got all my chores done , dishes, beds ,floors,laundry, dinner in crockpot, table set... everything done,but I am sick and I cant stand up any longer, so I guess ill spend the day in bed intead of shopping...

We made it, we mssied the flight I did some crying then we the girls slept, then they did some crying, we met Amy's family, went out for girls night, the girls did some more crying. Today we had church the Gwen is Happy Addi is crying so then we went McDOnaldss had some fries, the n to the Apple ORchard. That was fun and Addi did some more crying, she is getting really good at it. We are having a great time thoughg bery relaxing, tonite we are carving pumpkins and peanut butter cake, and some baked spaghetti and an Algebra quiz are on the agenda. Love you all

Kentucky Here We Come

I am so excited I cant sleep I went to bed at 12 and was up at 6, we are going to KY tomorrow YEah. I am ready for a much needed break. This week has been alittle more restful than last but still crazy we have has so many teachers and kids sick the school days are all crazy and I have been without a voice for three days, but the kids are doing well. Ruben is still running around like crazy be any animal imaginable. Gwen is over the stomach bug and back to be sneaky, and silly. Addi is just being Addi, my little girl who does not sleep and has started a growling phase.

Ruben is staying here with dad so who knows what fun they will have, I think he is going to go to work with Dad tommorow so that should be interesting. Well Wish me luck on my Exams this week. I have to pass this math class or I have to retake it and miss my graduation date. I have at 72.4 right now and I have to get a 72 or above to pass.LOve you all enjoy the snow and cold weather.

Thursday already!

Wow. I cant believe its thurday already. This week is going so fast. The kids had friday and monday off, and Lyle was home sick tuesday with a sore throat. I had to go pick up Tim on wednesday because his October break starts today through sunday. Monday is baking night here for the kids and they made chocolate chips cookies, tuesday is art or craft night and the kids each made their own quilted pillow and since we didnt have any stuffing they used up all my plastic shopping bags to stuff their pillows, that worked pretty well. Dakota had a cross country meet on tuesday and Alyssa has a volleyball game today.Cam has his homecoming football game on saturday ,and I dont know if anyone is going to the dance saturday night.Dakota has a cross country meet on saturday also. I made a quick stop at the salvation army store yesterday and got a great deal on 2 pr dress pants and 2 short sleeve dress shirts for the little boys ($4.38 total!) Its pretty cool here this week in the 30s at night , rain and wet snow today and a winter storm watch for tonight to tomarrow night 4-6 in. Not a really good time for this with the leaves still on the trees.(thats what happened with the"October storm" lots of downed trees and long term power outages) Im glad we have our wood stove, at least a months worth of wood,a months worth of groceries, flashlights , wind up radio and lights and power station for the kids to watch their dvds and run the computer. (bring it on ...it would be nice if we got a few days off of school out of it) Ive been busy baking sewing ,creating this week...oatmeal cookies,mexican wedding cakes, gingerbread cookies, peanut butter cookies, biscuits, a rug, a couple pillows, dry cookie mixes,hot cocoa mix,and a few other christmas and birthday presents. Gotta go check my cookies have a good weekend. Love ya

I start my job at starbucks today.....that's right....I start.....first day....today........hahaha

Yep, that's right, I quit my job at Starbucks today. Last day, October 25, maybe 24, I hope. I think. Hmmm.

Buffalo Bills......T.O. and Lee Evans lining up at wide reciever....Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson in backfield....and the great Trent Edwards at QB and we can't get a single TD......against the last place Cleveland Browns defense.....last.....the Browns are awful......they traded away their only good player this week....and we still lose.....ahhh!!!!

Busy and Tired

School is lamost done and the last two weeks are always the hardest one because there is finals and lots of papers, and them two because you get so ANXIOUS TO FINISH you dont want to do it. I have only been able to do it after the kids are in bed because this week has been to out of schedule.

Monday was fine good thing I started the homework early and did a huge amount of cleaning this weekend.

Tuesday my Father in law fell and hurt himself really bad he is in the hospital being made into the new bionic man. they put a metal place in his face to replace his cheek bone and supprt his eye. and has pins in both arms to keep the bones from collapsing on the arteries and veins, next week they will operate again and put in plates in the arm. He has fractured his hips in multiple places and had to have his hip, put back into place, it was out of the socket but he did not feel too much pain because he fainted while they were doing it.

Today the kids got to see him, Gwen was not sure what to think, Ruben said oh man you poor baby you fell off the chair and hurt your arm, and what happened to your eye, Addis was just happy to hear his voice, and was ready to play with hime, but he cannot use his arms.

The hopsital is about 45 min away and we have been mulitple times, becuase they dont have interpreters on staff at the hospital, So please keep himn in your prayers, it is a bummer we canceled little Ruben's birthday party and we are waiting for his grandpa to feel btter.

Big Ruben is getting the lfu so he is not much fun and tommorow is the Pumpkin Patch Feild Trip with the school. I am actually hoping for rain so they will cancel it bc fridays are my days off and I could really use one. I tried to post a video of Ruben opening presents from Grandma and Granpa but it does not work it keeps freezing my computer. so I will post some pictures later. This week was Apple week and school so we have eaten every type of apple desset imginable and today with my girls I made scented apples for them to take home it was so fun.

Addi is getting vampire teeth, and Gwen is getting teeth to so they are not very pleasent.

Apples

We went and picked up a bushel of apples yesterday(new york apples are thebest). So this morning I have my wood stove cranking and Im making apple sauce,and apple jelly, I also threw on some pumpkin muffins and potatoes for dinner. It may be cool and cloudy outside but life is sweet inside. Im all by myself today and it doesnt look like im going to get much done besides the cooking and some reading.(Oh well dishes and cobwebs will be there tomarrow) We stopped at the lake yesterday too Ashley got some good fall lake pictures for you Tam she'll put them on some time when shes around.Shes working today and friday and she has an interview for her dream job tonight at 7(craft coordinator for collins recreation),and I think she may start babysitting on the weekends in the morning ,so shes as busy as the rest of us. Dakota has a cross country meet today and alyssa has a volleyball game. love you guys

Happy Saturday!

I have a couple little stories from The Adventures of Ian,and Lyle "series".
A few days ago Lyle came home from school with a bunch of questions about his friends across the road (his parents split up and he only comes on the weekend) so we talked about that and how Spencer goes to his dads on the weekend and tristan ,and Alex does also (which is really sad,the majority of his friends parents are seperated) anyways next he asked if you have to go to court to do that ,and" I said yes, why do you want to do that?" He said "no",then he was quiet for a while and then he said "yes...when Ashley and Dan get married I want them to go to court so that I can go to their house on sundays." Then yesterday when J was getting ready to leave(apparently he didnt know he was leaving,even though I thought we were talking about it for a few days...)he got really mad at me and said "why are you making him leave?!"

I'm not sick today!

Well.... I am really, but I've decided not to be sick anymore. I might sound funny and weezy. I might cough alot and bring up (we won't talk about the yucky stuff). I showered and put on my best jeans and my coolest t-shirt. I ain't sick.

Ok. Now I need to rest. That wore me out.

Same old, same old

Were doing fine in New York, no one is sick yet ,thank goodness. Its getting kind of cold in the 40s and low 50s. Its been raining all week ,blah. I am excited though,because we have our stove going,and this year its heating the house ,cooking,drying clothes and heating water for showers, and were using wood from a tree that fell in our yard last year. (all for free!) I havent been doing any walking,but a little bike riding. Weve been doing our sit ups I think we are alittle behind,but by the end of today we should have over 4000 in a week and a half! Ive also been working on a quilt for some little boys birthday in nov. (It should be done tomarrow) Everyone is totally sick of school and if it wasnt for the sports they are doing ,they would probably be giving me a terrible time about getting up and going. Alyssa has a volleyball game today,Dakota has a cross country meet also,Cameron has a football game on sat. We probably wont go to any of them this week because they are all pretty far away. The Sabres play on sat and the Bills play on sunday,yeh! Not much else, just the same old ,same old. Oh yeh, we may go to Letchworth on Saturday, we'll take the kids school pictures there,I dont buy them from the school. Have a good day everyone , hope your all feeling better. Its donut day here tomarrow so I have to go find some good donuts today, maybe at super duper in south dayton,or quality in silver creek.
