Ashley and I went for a ride to check out the damage in Gowanda. Well we got partway through town and got a large piece of wood stuck underneath the van, so after I yanked it out and got all mud,we decided we better go park the van and try it on foot.We didnt make it through town on foot either, the mud in the streets was too thick and our shoes were slipping all over the place. I guess they had a couple of feet of water through main street, and they evacuated from Jubilee,to the Perrysburg hill, from hillis field to Broadway Road. The water in the Catt. rose 5 ft in 5min. There is debris and chunks of sidewalk, and road all over the place. Not an everyday experience around here.
