It is in the low 50s this morning. Fall is indeed on its way. Ian was asking yesterday when we were getting the halloween stuff out. I only produced 1 small pumpkin out of my garden.The plant was huge and growing like crazy,but the pumpkins would get 1-2 in and then fall off. The little kids and I went to the Perrysburg park a few days ago and collected apples,pears,and blackberries. We were ecspecially excited to find pears. We ate the pears and blackberries and I made apple crisp with the apples. We'll have to go up again this week to collect some more. I want to start getting applesauce and pumpkin puree in my freezer now(you can use both in place of oil in baking). The kids go back to school in about a week. Have a good day.
