Wes tapped our Maple trees for me yesterday ( I'm so glad he puts up with all my goofiness). Its so exciting to see the first drips of sap come down the tube and in the bucket(or this year, the milk jugs). There was about a gallon of sap yesterday, and that was just from a couple hours, so today we should get a few gallons. Tomorrow Ill start boiling it down into syrup (It takes about 40 gallons of sap to make 1 gallon of syrup!). Today I'm hanging out with Tim and Ash making yogurt and granola and going shopping at the Salvation Army store and of course, going out to eat. Have a great day.
